How long does interior painting take?
Single room: 1 day. Whole house (5-6 rooms): 3-7 days depending on prep, colors, and trim scope.
Do I need to move furniture?
We move it to the center and cover it with plastic. Anything fragile you'll want to remove yourself before we start.
How long does exterior painting take?
3-5 days for most homes. Weather-dependent — we don't paint below 50°F or above 90°F, and we watch the humidity.
What paint do you use?
Sherwin-Williams Duration and Emerald, Benjamin Moore Aura and Regal. Named products in the contract, no substitutions without your approval.
Two coats or three?
Two on most color changes. Three on deep colors going over light, or light going over deep. Written into the contract.
How long before I can hang pictures / touch walls?
4 hours for touch; 24 hours before hanging or pushing furniture against. Full cure (for washing) at 30 days.
Do you do lead-safe (RRP) work?
Yes — every crew is EPA RRP certified. Required by law for homes built before 1978.
Can you match a color I already have?
Yes. Bring us a chip, a can, or a peeled sample. We spectro-match at the paint store. Match is very close but rarely exact — a small test area first is smart for touch-ups.
